ENGLISH LANGUAGE ARTS
Decatur Heritage Christian Academy is currently seeking an English Language Arts teacher for our Upper School. This position is a full-time role from mid-January 2023 to mid-March 2023. It is a temporary position while one of our teacher is on maternity leave. The classes to be taught are: English 10, Honors English 10 (2 classes), English 11, AP Language & Composition. These classes are comprised of sophomore and juniors in high school.

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree; highly preferred to be in the subject for which the applicant is applying
Strong professional or collegiate references
Expertise in the integration of faith and learning
Strong classroom management skills
Teaching certification and experience in a school setting preferred
